PuppetPals

PuppetPals is a mobile + tablet app for ages 3–6 that turns social-emotional learning into short, repeatable puppet skits. A child picks two characters (e.g., Bunny and Bear), a scenario (sharing, waiting, losing a game, bedtime), and the app guides them through a 2–4 minute “story loop”: name the feeling, choose a coping tool, try a kind phrase, and replay with a better outcome. Parents/teachers get a simple dashboard showing which scenarios were practiced and which emotion words the child used most. It includes offline-friendly packs for classrooms and a “grown-up mode” with quick prompts for real-life moments (“We’re at the store and you’re frustrated—pick a puppet response”). This is an AI-assisted app (light AI): optional speech-to-text to capture the child’s words and suggest age-appropriate rephrasing, not open-ended chat.
