QuaranTrace
QuaranTrace is a desktop app (Windows/macOS) that focuses on one thing most antivirus tools do poorly: explaining infections in plain language with a timeline you can act on. It monitors process launches, downloads, browser extensions, and persistence mechanisms, then builds an “infection story” showing the first suspicious event, what executed next, what changed (registry, scheduled tasks, launch agents), and what data may have been touched. It doesn’t try to replace full antivirus engines; it complements them by turning noisy alerts into a clear remediation checklist: remove this extension, delete this scheduled task, revoke these tokens, reset these credentials. A lightweight AI layer summarizes the timeline and suggests next steps, but the core evidence is deterministic and exportable for IT or incident response. It also generates a shareable report for help desks and small MSPs.
