QuarterPilot is a web + mobile companion for freelancers and small-business owners who constantly underpay (or overpay) quarterly estimated taxes. It connects to your bank and payment processors, categorizes income, and continuously forecasts your federal + state quarterly payments using simple, transparent assumptions you can edit (filing status, deductions, retirement contributions, prior-year safe harbor). It then generates a “pay this much by this date” plan, sends deadline reminders, and can schedule payments via IRS Direct Pay and state portals with guided checklists. This is not a full tax filing product; it’s a cash-flow and compliance guardrail. The app also stores an audit-friendly trail of estimates, income snapshots, and payment confirmations. Expect some manual setup and occasional recategorization—tax data is messy—but the goal is to reduce surprises and penalties with minimal ongoing effort.
