QueryCoach

QueryCoach is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that helps business users and analysts write correct, consistent questions against company data without breaking governance. Users type a plain-English question, and the app proposes a vetted SQL query plus a short explanation of assumptions, filters, and metric definitions. It connects to existing warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and your BI semantic layer (where available) to enforce approved metrics and dimensions. It flags ambiguity (e.g., “revenue” gross vs net), suggests the right grain, and warns when joins will duplicate rows. For analysts, it provides a “review and publish” workflow: approve a query template, attach it to a metric definition, and share it as a reusable snippet. The goal is fewer wrong dashboards, fewer ad-hoc back-and-forths, and faster time-to-answer without pretending AI can replace data modeling.
