QueryLedger

QueryLedger is a web + browser-extension app that automatically turns your searching and browsing into a clean, searchable “research ledger.” Instead of juggling tabs, half-remembered queries, and lost links, it captures your search terms, clicked results, page highlights, and quick notes, then organizes them into sessions and topics. You can later ask, “What was that article about EU AI Act compliance I read last week?” and instantly see the trail: the original query, the best sources you opened, and the snippets you saved. It’s not trying to replace Google; it’s a layer on top that makes discovery repeatable and retrievable. The MVP should focus on speed, privacy controls, and a frictionless capture workflow. Realistically, growth will come from knowledge workers who do frequent research and feel the pain of losing context.
