QuestBuddies is a mobile app that helps friends (or small groups) play short, real-world “quests” in their city: photo challenges, timed scavenger hunts, trivia tied to landmarks, and bar/park-friendly mini-games. Hosts can spin up a quest in minutes using templates, set a radius, and invite people via a link. The app handles team assignment, live scoring, location check-ins, and a highlight reel at the end. It’s designed for 30–90 minute sessions—after work, weekends, birthdays—without needing special equipment. Monetization is realistic: paid quest packs for popular neighborhoods, private event bundles, and optional partner deals (cafes, museums) rather than pretending ads will pay the bills. It’s fun, but it’s not magic: it will only work if quests are genuinely good and onboarding is frictionless.
