QuestPals is a mobile app that helps kids jump into imaginative play with short, parent-approved “quests” that work with whatever toys they already have. The app serves 5–10 minute prompts like “Rescue the lost dragon egg” or “Build a moon clinic,” then offers optional add-ons: character voices, simple sound effects, and a timer to keep momentum. Parents can set age range, themes to avoid (scary, magic, weapons), and play mode (solo, siblings, playdate). It also includes a low-friction “prop picker” where kids snap a photo of 3 items (e.g., spoon, blanket, box) and the app generates a story setup using those items—without requiring expensive AR or complex 3D. A lightweight “memory reel” saves a single photo and a one-sentence recap after each session, so families can revisit favorite adventures without turning play into content creation.
