QuestPocket

QuestPocket is a mobile app that gives kids short, guided pretend-play adventures without needing constant adult improvisation. Parents pick a theme (space rescue, vet clinic, pirate crew, detective agency), set the play area (living room, car, backyard), and the app generates a simple “mission” with roles, props to grab from home, and timed prompts. It works offline after download, uses audio-first narration for pre-readers, and includes a low-stimulation mode (no flashy animations). A parent dashboard lets you choose duration (5–30 minutes), number of players, and noise level. The app also offers printable prop cards and “scene” cards for screen-off play. It’s not trying to be Roblox or a full game; it’s structured scaffolding that makes pretend play easier to start and sustain, especially for busy parents and kids who get bored quickly.
