QuestYard

QuestYard is a mobile app that generates quick, safe, real-world scavenger hunts for kids using your home, yard, or a nearby park. Parents pick a time (10–30 minutes), setting (indoors/outdoors), and age range; the app produces a hunt with photo-check challenges, movement mini-games, and simple riddles. It includes a “no-screen mode” that prints or reads tasks aloud so kids can play while the phone stays with the adult. Optional AI adapts difficulty based on completion speed and swaps tasks when an item isn’t available (e.g., no “pinecone” in the area). Safety is built in: geofenced play zones, no public sharing, and parent-only controls. Monetization is realistic: a small subscription for themed packs (birthdays, rainy day, travel) and a one-time family bundle for offline packs. This is play-first, not “learning disguised as play.”
