QueueMender

QueueMender is a web + tablet app (with optional mobile manager alerts) that monitors checkout flow in real time and tells store staff exactly what to do to reduce wait times. It ingests POS events (item scans, voids, tender type, time-per-transaction) and pairs them with simple lane status inputs (lane open/closed, staffing level). The system flags emerging bottlenecks—like a lane stuck on age-restricted items, frequent price overrides, or cash drawer issues—and recommends actions: open a new lane, redirect baskets to self-checkout, call a supervisor, or switch a lane to card-only. It also produces a daily “friction report” showing which SKUs, promotions, or policies create the most checkout delays. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations and dashboards, plus AI to classify delay causes and predict line growth from recent patterns.
