QueueSentry

QueueSentry is a mobile + web app for event and venue operators to monitor and manage queues in real time without expensive camera infrastructure. Staff use a mobile app to log queue length and wait-time estimates at key points (entry, concessions, restrooms, transit gates) with one-tap updates and quick photos. The web dashboard turns these inputs into a live “pressure map,” highlights emerging chokepoints, and recommends simple actions (open an extra lane, redirect to alternate entrance, stagger releases). It also generates post-event reports showing peak times, staffing gaps, and layout issues to improve future plans. This is a traditional app with light AI: computer vision can optionally estimate queue density from staff photos and flag anomalies, but the core value works even when AI is imperfect. It’s built for messy real-world operations where perfect sensors don’t exist.
