QueueTwin

QueueTwin is a simulation app that lets operations teams model real-world waiting lines—checkouts, call centers, clinics, airport security, drive-thrus—using simple inputs (arrival rates, staffing, service-time distributions, breaks, priority rules). It runs fast discrete-event simulations and outputs what managers actually need: predicted wait times, abandonment, utilization, SLA hit rate, and the cost of over/under-staffing. The UI is built for non-analysts: import a CSV from POS/telephony/EHR exports, auto-fit service-time distributions, and compare scenarios side-by-side (e.g., “add 1 cashier 4–7pm” or “split triage”). It won’t magically replace a data scientist, but it will replace spreadsheets and gut-feel staffing decisions with defensible numbers and clear tradeoffs. Export charts and a one-page report for leadership.
