QuietExit is a mobile app (with an optional web portal) designed for people at risk of domestic or intimate-partner violence who need a practical, discreet way to prepare for leaving safely. It provides step-by-step safety planning, a checklist for documents and essentials, and a secure “go-bag” inventory that can be exported to a trusted contact. The app includes a stealth mode (decoy interface), quick-exit gestures, and a private resource finder for shelters, legal aid, and hotlines based on location. An AI component can help draft messages to employers/landlords, summarize local protection-order steps, and translate content into the user’s language at a readable level. It’s not a magic shield: it reduces friction and improves preparedness, but it cannot guarantee safety and must be designed with strict threat-modeling and privacy defaults.
