QuietPing

QuietPing is a mobile app (Android first; iOS limited) that filters incoming SMS and surfaces only messages that matter: real people, delivery OTPs, banks, and known services. It uses on-device classification to flag spam, phishing, and “gray” marketing texts, then bundles non-urgent messages into a daily digest so your default SMS inbox stops being a dumpster fire. The app also explains why a message was flagged (keywords, sender patterns, suspicious links) and lets you one-tap report to carriers/regulators where supported. RCS support is included where available, but the reality is fragmented carrier support and OS restrictions—so the product focuses on what it can reliably control: Android SMS handling, link safety, and user-level blocking rules. Monetization is a low-cost subscription for advanced filtering, family protection, and business/finance “high-trust” modes.
