QuietQueue

QuietQueue is a mobile + web app for museums to manage timed entry, gallery-level capacity, and visitor flow without expensive hardware. Visitors pick a time slot, get a QR code, and receive gentle “go now” nudges when a gallery is less crowded. Staff get a simple dashboard showing live occupancy estimates by zone, predicted bottlenecks, and the ability to pause admissions or reroute traffic during school-group surges. The system works with lightweight signals: QR scans at key doorways, optional Bluetooth beacons, and manual headcount overrides when tech fails. It also includes post-visit analytics (dwell time by zone, missed slots, peak pressure points) that museums can act on quickly. This is not a flashy “AR tour” app; it’s operational plumbing that improves visitor experience and protects exhibits by reducing overcrowding.
