QuietQueue

QuietQueue is a web app comment system designed for small-to-mid publishers who are tired of spam, pile-ons, and moderation burnout. Instead of showing every comment instantly, it routes new comments into a “publish queue” with configurable rules: first-time commenters, links, flagged keywords, or high-velocity threads can require approval, while trusted users post instantly. It includes lightweight identity signals (email verification, device fingerprinting, optional OAuth) and a transparent status UI so users know if they’re pending, approved, or rejected—reducing repeat submissions and angry emails. It’s a hybrid traditional + AI app: AI helps triage toxicity, harassment, and off-topic content, but humans keep final control. The product is intentionally boring: fast embed, clear moderation workflow, and predictable pricing. It wins by saving time and preventing comment sections from becoming liabilities.
