QuietQueue

QuietQueue is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard for organizers) that helps festival-goers avoid the worst lines for toilets, bars, merch, and entry gates. Users quickly tap “joined line” and “done” to create anonymous, time-stamped wait data; the app turns that into live wait estimates and 15–30 minute forecasts per location. It also suggests the best next stop based on your position, walking time, and your priorities (bathroom now vs. drinks later). For organizers, a simple web view highlights emerging bottlenecks and suggests operational actions (open another bar, redirect foot traffic, deploy staff). This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for data capture/maps, AI for forecasting and anomaly detection. It’s realistic: it only works well when adoption is decent, so it’s built around incentives (rewards, venue perks) and ultra-fast input.
