QuietQueue is a mobile app (iOS/Android) for parents who want podcasts and audiobooks for kids without surprise content, ads, or algorithmic rabbit holes. Parents build “queues” from curated, age-rated episodes and books, then lock playback into a simple kid mode with big buttons and no search. The app focuses on short-form listening (5–20 minutes) for car rides, bedtime, and quiet time. It includes offline downloads, a sleep timer, and a daily listening limit to avoid endless consumption. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps pre-screen transcripts for risky topics (violence, sexual content, self-harm, profanity, scams) and flags episodes for human review, but it does not generate content. Realistically, the hard part is licensing and catalog access—so the MVP should start by organizing and gating public/free feeds and partner catalogs rather than trying to out-Spotify Spotify.
