QuietQuorum

QuietQuorum is a mobile + web app for co-housing and communal homes to run lightweight governance: propose decisions, collect input asynchronously, and close outcomes with clear rules. Instead of chaotic group chats and marathon meetings, residents create proposals (e.g., budget items, guest policy, pet rules), choose a decision method (simple majority, consent-based with objections, ranked choice), and set a deadline. The app nudges residents to respond, tracks objections with required rationale, and generates a final decision record with who agreed, who objected, and what changed. It also includes a “policy library” so recurring issues become documented norms, not repeated arguments. This is not therapy and it won’t fix interpersonal conflict; it simply reduces process friction, makes decisions auditable, and lowers the social cost of participation for quieter residents.
