QuietRounds

QuietRounds is a mobile + web AI app that helps nursing teams reduce patient agitation, falls, and disruptive events by turning routine observations into early warnings. Nurses quickly log a 20–40 second “rounding snapshot” (sleep, pain, toileting, confusion cues, device pulling, family stressors). The app combines this with basic context (unit type, time of day, recent PRNs, mobility status) to generate a simple risk score and suggested next-best actions aligned to facility protocols (e.g., toileting round, pain reassessment, environmental adjustments, sitter escalation criteria). It also creates a lightweight audit trail for charge nurses and quality teams without forcing full narrative charting. QuietRounds is not a replacement for the EHR; it’s a fast, bedside tool aimed at preventing the next incident, especially on med-surg, geriatrics, and post-op units where staffing is thin and interruptions are constant.
