QuotaPilot is a lightweight bandwidth management web app with an optional on-prem agent that enforces simple, predictable internet rules for small offices and multi-site SMBs. Instead of complex enterprise QoS, it focuses on what most teams actually need: per-user and per-device caps, time-of-day policies, and “business app priority” for Zoom/Teams, VoIP, POS, and critical SaaS. It integrates with common gateways (pfSense/OPNsense, UniFi) and can also run as a transparent Linux bridge for sites without fancy gear. The dashboard shows who is saturating the link, what categories are eating data, and what policy is throttling them—so admins can fix issues fast without becoming a network engineer. It also includes simple alerts (e.g., “backup job started during business hours”) and one-click temporary exceptions for VIP meetings. This is a traditional app with a small AI component for anomaly detection and policy suggestions.
