Instead of just showing dashboards, it sets guardrails: per-team quotas, growth-rate alerts, and automated actions like lifecycle policy suggestions, compression candidates, and “largest offender” reports tied to owners. It integrates with Slack/Jira to turn storage creep into tickets with clear remediation steps. The MVP focuses on read-only discovery plus alerting; enforcement can start as “soft blocks” (warnings) before moving to hard limits for supported systems. This is not magic: it won’t dedupe your entire estate instantly, and it won’t replace enterprise storage suites. It’s a pragmatic layer that helps teams avoid surprise bills, outages from full volumes, and endless blame games.
