RackGauge

RackGauge helps small warehouses, workshops, and storage units understand real, usable capacity—not just square footage. Users map a space by entering basic dimensions and then quickly logging shelves, racks, bins, and aisle widths. The app calculates true volumetric capacity, highlights dead zones (blocked corners, oversized aisles, unreachable heights), and suggests simple reconfigurations like swapping shelf depths, changing bin sizes, or adjusting aisle spacing. It also tracks “capacity drift” over time as inventory and containers change, so teams can see when they’re trending toward overflow weeks in advance. This is not a fancy digital twin; it’s a practical capacity calculator with clear, actionable outputs. It’s most valuable for operations that can’t justify a WMS overhaul but still waste money on extra storage, offsite units, or rushed rack purchases because they don’t know what they actually have.
