RackScout

RackScout is a desktop + web app (with an optional mobile companion) that monitors server hardware health and predicts imminent failures using SMART, IPMI, RAID controller telemetry, and OS logs. It focuses on small-to-mid fleets (10–2,000 nodes) that are too big for manual checks but too cost-sensitive for heavyweight enterprise suites. The app normalizes messy vendor data (Dell iDRAC, HPE iLO, Supermicro IPMI, etc.) into a single “risk score” per component: disks, fans, PSUs, DIMMs, and thermals. It then generates actionable maintenance tickets (what to replace, where it is, and the likely impact) and provides a simple parts forecasting view so teams can stock the right spares. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional collection/alerting plus ML-based anomaly detection and failure probability models tuned to your environment.
