RailSwitch

RailSwitch is a web app (with optional API) that sits between a merchant’s checkout/payment orchestrator and their processors, then dynamically routes each transaction to the best payment rail: cards, ACH, RTP, FedNow, or local A2A options where available. It uses rules plus lightweight AI to predict approval probability, fees, and settlement speed based on transaction attributes, issuer behavior, and past outcomes. The goal is blunt: reduce processing costs and increase authorization rates without a full rip-and-replace of existing payment providers. The MVP focuses on routing recommendations, A/B testing, and post-transaction analytics rather than trying to become a processor (which is slow, regulated, and expensive). Integrations start with Stripe, Adyen, and a major ACH provider, then expand. Expect real operational complexity: edge cases, disputes, and provider quirks. If you can’t integrate cleanly and prove savings quickly, customers will churn.
