RainCheck is a mobile + web app that builds a reliable “Plan B” for local experiences when weather, sell-outs, closures, or last-minute cancellations ruin the original plan. Users set a time window, location radius, budget, group size, accessibility needs, and vibe (quiet, high-energy, kid-friendly, date night). The app pre-generates 3–7 backup options with live availability signals (hours, ticket inventory where possible, capacity cues, travel time) and one-tap pivots: reroute, reserve, or buy. It also supports “if-then” rules (If rain > 40%, switch to indoor; If wait time > 30 min, switch). This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations and rules, plus AI to rank options, summarize why each fits, and adapt to preferences over time. Monetization: affiliate commissions, premium for auto-rebook and group coordination.
