RainCheckr is a mobile + web app that prevents pick-up games from collapsing due to weather and last-minute chaos. It pulls hyperlocal forecasts, radar nowcasts, and venue-specific conditions, then recommends a clear call: play, delay, move, or cancel. If a change is needed, it automatically proposes alternative times and nearby backup locations based on participants’ availability and travel distance, and it pushes a single “final decision” notification so everyone stays aligned. The app also tracks reliability (who confirms, who flakes) without being overly punitive, helping organizers pick dependable players. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional scheduling and messaging, plus AI for weather-based decisioning and smart rescheduling suggestions. Monetization is realistic via organizer subscriptions (teams/groups), plus optional venue partnerships for promoted backup fields/courts.
