RampRadar

RampRadar is a mobile + web app for accessibility in public spaces that turns “is this route usable?” into a measurable, up-to-date dataset. Users (wheelchair users, parents with strollers, delivery riders) can quickly report barriers like broken elevators, steep ramps, blocked curb cuts, narrow doors, or construction detours with photos, severity, and time. The app builds an accessibility-first navigation layer that prioritizes step-free paths and flags unreliable segments. For cities, campuses, and large venues, a web dashboard aggregates reports, highlights recurring problem areas, and generates maintenance tickets and compliance evidence. This is not magic: coverage will start thin and accuracy depends on participation. The MVP focuses on a few dense areas (downtowns, campuses) where repeat traffic creates reliable signal fast, and where facility managers can actually act on issues.
