RampScout

RampScout is a mobile + web app for athletes and fans with mobility needs to verify real-world accessibility at sports venues and local facilities. Instead of vague “ADA compliant” claims, it collects structured, on-the-ground data: entrance routes, ramp grades (estimated), elevator reliability, door widths, bathroom access, seating sightlines from accessible sections, and parking-to-seat travel time. Users can upload short videos and photos, answer a quick checklist, and earn credibility scores over time. Venues can claim their profile and respond with fixes or updates, but they can’t delete user reports. The app focuses on repeatable, practical decisions: “Can I get from lot to seat without help?” and “Will I miss the first quarter because the elevator is broken?” It also supports sharing a trip plan with a companion and exporting a simple accessibility summary for event organizers.
