RangerRelay

RangerRelay is a mobile + web app for wildlife rangers and conservation NGOs to capture patrol activity, snare finds, carcass incidents, and human-wildlife conflict reports in a way that actually holds up later. It works fully offline, then syncs when connectivity returns. Each record is automatically time-stamped, GPS-tagged, and cryptographically signed to create a tamper-evident chain-of-custody. A lightweight web dashboard lets supervisors review patrol coverage, identify hotspots, and export standardized incident packets for partners or prosecutors. Optional AI helps classify photos (snare vs. fence vs. carcass), auto-fill species names from a controlled list, and flag inconsistent entries that could undermine credibility. This is not a “save the planet” consumer app; it’s operational tooling designed for field reality: low-end Android phones, intermittent power, and high staff turnover.
