RaptorID Pro

RaptorID Pro is a mobile + web app that helps birders and field researchers accurately identify raptors and birds of prey and produce usable records. Users upload a photo, short video, or audio clip and get an AI-assisted shortlist of likely species with confidence, key field marks to confirm, and similar-species comparisons. It then guides the user through a structured “evidence checklist” (angle, tail shape, wing beat, habitat, seasonality) to reduce mis-IDs before submission. Verified sightings can be exported to eBird-style formats or shared privately with local raptor groups for review. The app also includes offline field packs (regional species, silhouettes, molt/age notes) for areas with poor reception. This is not a magic detector: it’s a decision-support tool that prioritizes accuracy and auditability over flashy predictions.
