RaptorRecall

RaptorRecall is a mobile + web app that helps falconers recover a lost hawk or falcon by turning the local community into a fast, structured search network. When a bird is lost, the owner creates an alert with species, photos, last known GPS point, time, behavior notes, and contact instructions. The app generates a shareable public link and pushes geo-fenced notifications to nearby users (falconers, birders, rehabbers, vets, animal control) who opt in. Sightings are submitted with location, time, photo, and direction of travel, then plotted on a live map with a simple confidence score to reduce noise. It also includes printable flyers, a call script for shelters, and a checklist for proven recovery steps. This is not glamorous, but it targets the most urgent moment in falconry: getting your bird back.
