RaptorRoute
RaptorRoute is a mobile + web AI-assisted field logging app for raptor watchers, banding stations, and conservation groups. Users record sightings (species, age/sex if known, behavior, flight direction, altitude estimate, weather) with one-tap structured inputs and optional photo/audio. The app auto-suggests species from photos, flags likely mis-IDs, and generates standardized daily count sheets used by hawk watches. A shared “site dashboard” shows real-time passage rates, peak hours, and wind/thermal correlations, helping sites staff optimally and improving data quality. The honest angle: this only works if it’s faster than a notebook and more reliable than generic bird apps. So the MVP focuses on speed, offline-first logging, and export formats that existing raptor count programs actually accept, rather than trying to be another all-birds social feed.
