RateLockr

RateLockr is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that continuously audits your cloud pricing assumptions and contract coverage across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It detects “bill drift” caused by silent changes: savings plan/RI coverage gaps, new SKUs replacing old ones, region/zone shifts, data transfer reclassification, and managed service price updates. Instead of generic “cut spend” advice, it produces a short list of high-confidence actions: which workloads lost discount coverage, which accounts are paying on-demand unexpectedly, and which line items changed effective rates month-over-month. It integrates with billing exports and CUR/Cost Management data, then creates explainable variance reports your finance team can trust. This is not a magic autopilot—many fixes still require engineering changes—but it makes the root causes obvious and prevents recurring surprises.
