RateRadar

RateRadar is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that turns your utility’s time-of-use rates into clear, actionable schedules. It connects to common smart meters/utility portals and major smart plugs/thermostats to estimate which devices drive costs and when. The app’s core value is brutally practical: it tells you exactly what to run later (laundry, dishwasher, EV charging) and what to stop leaving on, based on your actual tariff and household routines. It generates a “next 24 hours” plan with expected savings, then can optionally trigger automations through supported platforms. It also flags billing anomalies (rate plan mismatch, sudden baseline jumps) and provides a simple “what changed?” view so users don’t drown in charts. This is not a magic energy saver; it’s a rate-optimization tool that helps people who already have TOU pricing or are about to switch.
