RateSnap

RateSnap is a mobile + web app that lets car buyers validate financing and lease offers in minutes using a photo of the buyer’s order, lease worksheet, or lender quote. It parses the deal, reconstructs the math (APR, money factor, residual, fees, add-ons, taxes), and flags where the numbers don’t reconcile or where common padding hides (marked-up money factor, inflated acquisition/doc fees, unnecessary products). Users can run “what-if” scenarios: different down payments, term lengths, mileage, credit tiers, and incentives to see the true monthly and total cost. The app then generates a clean counter-offer sheet and a checklist of questions to ask the finance manager. It’s not a magic wand—dealers can still say no—but it gives buyers clarity and leverage before they commit.
