ReadRoutine is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that turns early literacy into a consistent habit for busy families. Instead of endless games, it delivers a short, guided daily session: one phonemic-awareness exercise, one decodable mini-story, and one quick comprehension prompt. Parents get a simple script and a timer so they don’t have to “teach”; the app does the pacing. Kids earn progress through streaks and story-unlocks, not noisy distractions. It includes a lightweight placement check (2 minutes) to start at the right level and adapts weekly based on accuracy and time-on-task. Optional AI features generate extra decodable passages using the child’s current phonics pattern and interests (e.g., dinosaurs), but the core curriculum is fixed and quality-controlled. The goal is measurable reading growth with minimal parent effort and predictable daily structure.
