RebalPilot

RebalPilot is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that tells DIY investors when to rebalance based on real-world frictions: taxes, trading fees, bid/ask spreads, and cashflows. Instead of nagging you to “rebalance quarterly,” it calculates a personalized trigger policy (bands, drift limits, and minimum benefit thresholds) and shows the expected improvement vs. expected costs before you act. You connect broker accounts (read-only) to track allocation drift across ETFs, stocks, and cash, and you can simulate rebalancing using contributions/withdrawals first (the least painful method). The app generates a simple action list: what to buy/sell, in what order, and how to avoid wash sales and short-term gains where possible. Brutal truth: it won’t beat the market; it will just reduce avoidable mistakes and decision fatigue, which is what most people actually need.
