RebateProof is a mobile + web app that stress-tests an EV purchase or lease against real incentive rules before the buyer commits. Users enter their ZIP, income range, vehicle trim/VIN (or pick from a catalog), dealer fees, trade-in, and intended use. The app returns a plain-English “eligibility verdict” for federal/state/utility incentives, plus a risk score showing where deals commonly break (income thresholds, MSRP caps, battery sourcing, leasing loopholes, residency, registration timing). It generates a one-page “dealer-ready” checklist and email template that asks for the exact paperwork needed to claim credits, reducing surprises at tax time. It also flags incentives that are frequently advertised but rarely collectible, and estimates net effective price with conservative assumptions. This is not a magic savings app; it’s a verification and documentation tool that prevents expensive mistakes.
