RebootVault

RebootVault is a web + lightweight desktop agent that continuously validates whether your backups are actually restorable. Instead of just checking “backup completed,” it periodically spins up isolated restore sandboxes (VM or container) to run scripted recovery drills: boot checks, database consistency checks, file integrity sampling, and application smoke tests. It then produces a simple pass/fail scorecard, RTO/RPO estimates based on real restore times, and a compliance-ready audit trail. An AI assistant helps generate and maintain restore test scripts from your app stack description (e.g., “Postgres + S3 + Docker Compose”), but the core value is deterministic testing and evidence. Integrations focus on common backup targets (S3-compatible, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage, Veeam repositories via mounted paths) and alerting (Slack, Teams, email). This is not a backup product; it’s backup verification that reduces false confidence.
