RebuttalGym

RebuttalGym is an AI-assisted web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps users build persuasive rebuttals under realistic constraints: limited time, hostile questions, and messy claims. You paste an argument (a tweet thread, debate clip transcript, meeting notes), pick a context (workplace, politics, sales, family), and the app generates the strongest opposing case first. Then it drills you through timed rounds: identify the claim, isolate assumptions, choose a rhetorical move (concession, reframing, analogy, counterexample, burden shift), and deliver a concise response. After each round, it scores clarity, logical validity, tone, and audience fit, and suggests tighter phrasing. It also includes a “fallacy trap” mode where the AI intentionally baits you with common rhetorical tricks so you learn to spot and defuse them. Export practice scripts and improvement summaries for coaching or self-study.
