RebuttalKit

RebuttalKit is a web app (with optional desktop plugin) that helps authors manage peer-review revisions and rebuttals without losing track of what changed, who asked for what, and whether the response is actually complete. Users paste reviewer comments (or upload decision letters), then organize them into actionable items, assign owners, and link each item to specific manuscript changes. The app generates a structured response letter with traceable mappings: comment → action → location in manuscript → evidence/citation. It also maintains a revision log and checklist to reduce missed requests, contradictions, and vague replies. This is an AI-assisted app: AI helps cluster comments, suggest response phrasing, and detect unaddressed points, but the user stays in control with explicit approvals and a clear audit trail. It’s realistic: it won’t “win acceptance,” it will just reduce preventable mistakes and time waste.
