RecallRadar

RecallRadar is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps parents and caregivers quickly check whether a baby product is recalled, unsafe, or has critical warnings. Users scan a barcode/QR code or search by brand/model, then get a clear status: “No issues found,” “Recall issued,” or “Safety advisory,” with links to official sources and next steps. The app also builds a private inventory of your baby gear (car seats, cribs, swings, carriers, bottles) and sends push alerts if any item in your inventory becomes recalled later. It supports multiple caregivers (partner, grandparents, daycare) so everyone sees the same alerts. This is not magic: coverage depends on public recall data quality and correct product identification, but it can drastically reduce the time and confusion parents face when trying to verify safety information.
