RecallRadar helps consumers catch dangerous product recalls they’d otherwise miss. You scan receipts, barcodes, or import email receipts to build a private “things I bought” list. The app continuously matches your items against official recall databases (CPSC, NHTSA, FDA, USDA) and retailer notices, then sends clear, actionable steps: stop-use warnings, refund/repair instructions, and direct links to claim forms. It also tracks claim status and deadlines, and can generate a pre-filled email or letter to the retailer/manufacturer. This is a mobile app plus a lightweight web dashboard for managing claims and exporting reports (useful for families and small landlords). It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used for receipt parsing, item normalization, and matching messy product names to recall records. The core value is reducing the “I never heard about that recall” problem with minimal user effort.
