RecallRadar is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that tracks your home appliances and alerts you when a recall, safety notice, or class-action issue matches your exact model/serial number. Users scan the appliance nameplate (or upload a receipt), and the app extracts model/serial via OCR, then continuously monitors official sources (CPSC, manufacturer bulletins) and credible repair forums for emerging failure patterns. When a match appears, it sends a clear action plan: stop-use guidance, eligibility steps, required proof, and one-tap links to file claims or schedule free repairs. It also stores warranty dates, manuals, and service history so you can prove ownership fast. This is not a shopping comparison tool; it’s a safety + money-recovery tracker that reduces the chaos of finding out too late and missing claim windows.
