RecallRadar helps parents and caregivers quickly check whether kids and baby clothing items they own are affected by safety recalls (e.g., drawstring hazards, flammability issues, choking risks from snaps/buttons). You scan a barcode/QR when available, or snap a photo of the care tag/brand label; the app then matches it against official recall feeds and retailer notices and alerts you if there’s a potential match. It also stores a simple “closet safety list” so you can re-check items automatically when new recalls are issued. The reality: recall info is scattered, hard to search, and most people don’t hear about it until after an incident or a news cycle. This app doesn’t magically identify every item (many tags are generic), but it can meaningfully reduce the chance you miss major recalls and provide clear next steps: stop-use guidance, return/refund links, and reporting channels.
