RecallShield

RecallShield is a mobile + web app that tells car owners whether a repair is likely covered by their extended warranty (or factory warranty/recall) before they authorize work. Users upload a photo/PDF of their warranty contract and a repair estimate; the app extracts coverage terms, exclusions, deductibles, and required steps (pre-authorization, approved shops, teardown rules). It then produces a plain-English “coverage likelihood” summary, a checklist of what to ask the service advisor, and a pre-filled call script to the warranty administrator. It also stores service records and mileage to reduce claim denials due to missing maintenance proof. This is an AI + traditional app: AI handles document parsing and explanation, while rules and user confirmations keep it grounded. It won’t magically win every claim, but it will stop people from paying for repairs that were probably covered—or from wasting hours on claims that never had a chance.
