Users paste a product URL (Amazon, Walmart, Shopify stores, etc.) or upload screenshots, and the app extracts reviews, clusters them by recurring themes (fit, durability, battery, customer service), and flags suspicious patterns like repeated phrasing, abnormal rating bursts, and reviewer overlap. It also highlights “deal-breaker” complaints that match your preferences (e.g., sensitive skin, small apartment, pet hair). Instead of chasing a perfect score, RecapRater outputs a confidence rating and a short “who this is actually for” paragraph. The goal is not to replace reviews, but to reduce time wasted and prevent regret purchases. Monetization is a freemium model with a paid tier for unlimited analyses, watchlists, and price-drop + review-quality alerts.
