ReceiptRadar is a mobile + web AI app that turns everyday receipts and invoices into a personal “price index” for what you actually buy. Users scan receipts (or forward email receipts) and the app tracks item-level price changes over time, flags shrinkflation (same product, smaller size), and suggests cheaper equivalent alternatives at nearby stores. It also estimates how much of a change is driven by taxes, shipping, or supplier price hikes using public data and merchant patterns—imperfect, but directionally useful. The value is not macroeconomic charts; it’s a practical, household-level view of inflation and cost creep. Monetization is a freemium model: free tracking, paid tier for advanced alerts, bulk imports, family sharing, and “switch plans” that recommend substitutions and store rotations. Realistically, accuracy depends on receipt quality and merchant data consistency, so the product must be transparent about confidence levels.
