ReceiptRadar is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that turns restaurant receipts and card notifications into a clean, accurate dining budget. You snap a receipt or forward an email receipt; the app extracts line items, taxes, fees, and tips, then categorizes spending by restaurant, cuisine, neighborhood, and “hidden fees” (service charges, delivery fees, surcharges). It flags price creep on your favorite spots, shows your true average meal cost, and suggests simple, realistic cutbacks (e.g., “skip delivery twice this month saves $38”). It also supports shared meals by letting you tag who was there and split items later, without forcing everyone to install the app. This is an AI + traditional app: AI handles extraction and normalization; the rest is budgeting, analytics, and alerts. It’s not glamorous, but it’s practical and measurable.
